Passivated Annular Ring

$ 3.40

Category:
Passivated Annular Ring Nails are engineered for projects where permanent strength and resistance to loosening are critical. These nails feature a unique “ringed” or threaded shank; as the nail is driven into the timber, the wood fibers settle into the grooves between the rings. This creates a powerful locking effect that significantly increases withdrawal resistance, making it much harder for the nail to back out over time due to timber movement, temperature changes, or structural stress. These nails are finished with a Zinc and Yellow Passivation (ZYP), providing a durable barrier against rust and corrosion. This protective coating makes them suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including drylining (plasterboard), cedar shingles, and general timber construction. The wide flat head ensures a large bearing surface, which is particularly beneficial when fixing thin materials like featheredge boards or cladding, as it prevents the nail from pulling through the material. Product Features: Annular Ring Shank: Threaded design provides exceptional grip and prevents nails from working loose over time. Corrosion Resistant: Yellow passivated coating protects against the elements and prevents unsightly rust staining. Large Flat Head: Offers superior clamping force and prevents the nail from being pulled through soft materials. Perfect for Featheredge: Discreet yet strong enough to secure overlapping fence boards and decorative trims. Versatile Use: Ideal for fencing, roofing, plasterboard, and general timber-to-timber fixings.
