The 320mm 5-Inlet Inspection Chamber Base is a fundamental component for modern domestic drainage systems. With one main straight-through channel and four side inlets (typically angled at 45° and 90°), it offers maximum flexibility for complex site layouts. Manufactured from high-strength, 100% recycled polypropylene, this base is designed for “shallow access” applications (up to a maximum depth of 600mm). The “level invert” design ensures that all water enters and exits the chamber at the same height, maintaining a consistent flow and preventing the stagnant water or “stepping” that can cause blockages. Each inlet comes with captive rubber seals for a fast, watertight push-fit connection, and unused inlets can be easily blocked off with blanking plugs (usually included).
